    Air Puff in clutch?

I hear an air puff type of sound when pushing in my stock clutch. I only hear it when I put it into first gear or when starting the car. Any idea of what it could be? Thanks

Is it a "puff" or a "squeak" type of noise? A lot of EPs will develop a squeaking noise over time when the clutch pedal is pressed in.

And is it affecting operation of the clutch/transmission?

Its a puff noise like bleeding your brakes type of noise. Doesn't effect anything performance wise, just wondering if its the beginning of a problem?

Well, I did have to replace my clutch slave cylinder a few years back. And I believe a lot of other members have as well.

You may want to have it professionally diagnosed before you go buying and installing new parts though.

    Hope this helps.
