wanting to drop but don't have the gwap.

im sorta new on this forum, sup guys. I want to know what it would take to drop my ep3 about 1.5-2 inches. I want to get a coilover kit (maybe teins or skunk2s) but i know the prices are high. I don't want to buy springs to drop it cause i know that causes damage. What would be the best way to drop it with no interference? price range around 500-650 ish

Do you mean that springs causes damage as far as installing them to the stock strut/shocks?

If you are going to drop that much, you will also need a camber kit for the rear at least and possibly for the front to prevent premature tire wear.

If you want to drop a lot (2" or more), it's been recommended to me, that you get some extended ball joints. This keeps your suspension geometry correct and prevents your LCA's from dropping too low

What about getting springs with aftermarket shocks combo?
It's arguably better to the suspension guru's

i could look into that. but i'm just looking for a quality/good price way of improving handleing and dropping it a little. I think the racelands might be cheapo's but idk. you might be right with looking into the springs and shocks combo. I tryed looking for the hfps, dc5s and couldn't find them. mugens were expensive and i don't know anyone selling them.
