OBD port is a no go... HELP!

went to emissions today in CT and they said they weren't able to test my car.
They showed me the computer screen and it said, "No connection found".

They tried it both the car off and on.

Is there a setting in kpro manager that i need to turn on?

    yes.

it has been a while since i messed with kpro... but you need to set the readiness on it.

i thought the link would go where i want it to. click on commands.

    Readiness Codes
Readiness codes indicate which OBDII tests the ECU supports and the status of those tests. The Honda ECU does not support all tests. Readiness codes are reset to 'Not Complete' when the Clear DTCs command is used. Readiness codes may be marked as 'Complete' using the Set Readiness command.

Ive had some CEL pop up here and there but I've fixed the problems.
Should I clear it one last before I activate this setting?

After I pass I can shut it off again, right?
From what I read, activating this setting makes me loose the "clear problem codes" function.

i believe it is just like resetting your ecu, without kpro, and clearing out the codes. i am not familiar with this because they did not have it at the time i was registering my EP. what i am doing is registering my EP in a different county that does not test codes. i know a few local people who told me they just set the readiness and went to get tested and did not have any issues passing.

hopefully, someone will chime in and let us know for sure.
