    Amsoil 0W-30 Sig Series... thoughts?

Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this stuff? Seems like pretty good stuff. Should I try this or go for the Amsoil 5W-40 Euro?

I like the 5w40, but you may need something different during the wnter. I use a 0w40 for most of my offroad stuff during the winter(mainly because they get used when the weather is the worst) which may be appropriate for you as well.

I ran it for around 7000 miles with a Wix filter. Didn't notice anything different from the 5w-30. I should've gotten an oil analysis.

I know your a huge promoter of the 5w-40 stuff but I just don't see a need for the 40 weight in our engines. I am refering to basic bolt on A3's, not boosted or heavily modified engines. All other higher performance K's run 30 weight. I like the 0W part since I live in a climate with pretty cold winters. This signature series is suppost to be their best of the best oil so that interests me as well. I'm just curious about fellow enthusiasts thoughts on this oil.

    I use the 5-30 year round, even when it's -40c to +40c

i think that sig series is for built or boosted cars.
