shops with air guns typically overtighten lug nuts by a lot (like 300 ft/lb plus vs the recommended 85 ft/lb)

also, you put them on the stock wheels in your avatar or something else? if they are on the stock wheels you can't run them because they have a tapered seat vs the OEM ball seat.
Just a regular socket wrench, but instead of using a regular 6-sided socket, I used the multi-ridged kind like this http://image.shutterstock.com/displa...und-465703.jpg
    which was a bad idea.

I have them on the HFP Fit wheels. Just took a pic

I'll see if I can get my hands on a torque-wrench where I can set it to 85

Also, can you explain the tapered seat vs the OEM ball seat? Should I not be running these even on the HFP wheels?

to put it simply, no you should not be running them.

basically, aftermarket wheels = aftermarket lugs

and oem wheels = oem lugs.

    this will explain better.

If you MUST use the lug nuts, then SSR has a solution to it:

Thanks guys! I had no idea about any of this, you learn something new every day. I'm gonna swap back out for the OEM's as soon as possible.

I may go for those conversion washers in the future.

Did you need any spacers or anything for those wheels? I know they're high offset +55

They are a high offset, which I didn't realize when I bought them.

Spacers? Quick answer - No. You shouldn't.

BUT (my EP loves throwing "buts" my way) I did...only on the passenger side rear wheel Long story...

I've talked with 2 other people with the same wheels, with no spacers, and they don't have any issues with scraping at all. So any normal EP should be fine.

Engine splash shield came off while backing out of a lift. How bad is it to drive without it?

not really a huge deal as long as you don't have a cold air intake. you should still get it back on fairly soon anyway though

i have a c/f Seibon spoiler (adjustable mugen style) and is kinda lose, the bolts are tight but i can feel the spoiler (just the duck tale part) moving around, like theres a bolt lose on each side but i cant see any bolts/screws that holds this together.
anybody had this problem before? im thinking in losing up the bolts and pull off the wing and see if i can do something about this.
    any input?

Just received my HFP kit, what is this made out of? The side skirts seem so flimsy.

ABS plastic. all honda oem body parts are made out of that instead of like fiberglass so they won't crack.
