Yup, everything bolts right on, no problems with anything really, its a great motor, you will love it around town. And the wiring harness goes directly on it with no modification or changing any sensors.
How many miles you got on your A3 now?
Working on 256k.
Starting to get leaks from the oil pan gasket, and MIGHT have a leaky head gasket.
Fixable, but at this point if I'm going to put the work in, it's for upgrades. :)

With similar problems, I sold mine for $250 still, which paid for half of my K24A1, I got a pretty smokin deal on it from LKQ.
Funny, mine started dying at around the same mileage, like 250,000, no leaks, but it started very slowly eating coolant and shit like that.
I beat the living piss out of mine for over 100k, god only knows what the PO did, these things are pretty resilient. I pulled mine out running still as well, and she was still running well and taking a beating. haha.

Yeah same here mostly.
Just burning a little oil, constant small amounts of air in the coolant, etc.
Time to go bigger and flog her around for another 250k ;)

Sort of. It can and has been done but it takes a lot of careful cutting to do it. TBH, I don't think the end result is worth it. You're better off going with the proper bumper.

I need some help. This may not be the proper place... but i also need as much traffic to see this as possible. Move if need be.
I am in need of a part off of an EP alternator. Yes... this is a shot in the dark. The metal shielding on the end of mine was damaged in the accident. The rest of my alternator is fine.
Also... if anyone has a spare unbent AC fan shroud. I dont need the motor and fan... just the shroud.
Oh... and a k20 dipstick... and an OEM oil cap. lol

On my way to work this morning my gas pedal gave out, i looked at it and the throttle cable has about and 1.5" of play. The pedal cant reach the lead end to pull the throttle body. Anyone have any input of what to do or do i need to get a new throttle cable?
