The nut on top of my front passenger shock loosens about once every other week when I drive, and I tighten it each time when the car is down -- what's giving? I'm lowered on Tokico D-Specs with H&R Sport Springs, dampening set to near OEM levels.

The shocks rebound fine and make no noise.

For the motor mounts question, close to stock power. I have upgraded the intake and the exhaust. With just these modifications the power is pretty close to stock. Does the amount of power create more vibrations? Is that the reason that power is related to motor mounts?

    Thanks

yeah the more power/torque you make the more stress there is on your mounts. a good option for stock mounts are energy suspension motor mount bushings, or you can fill the mounts with 3m window weld or some other type of epoxy

Thank you for the information and good advice. But, the initial question still remains. At what point do the motor mounts become too stiff for the CD player to function. I have read that many are very happy with the stiff motor mounts(75+). However, there is no information if these mounts affect the operation of the CD player.

well i can't answer that one but unless you have big plans for your car 75 mounts will just be overkill regardless of how much they vibrate.

For some reason I think I'm reading something wrong.

I keep reading it like 5w20 is better
But anyways, will it take longer for the 5w20 or 5w30 to warm up?
And essentially you're saying that 5w30 is better correct?
5w20 is thinner, so it'll move quicker but it'll also burn faster.

I notice a lot of wheels, mostly bimmer wheels, I see on secondhand markets are 'filled and redrilled'.
    Is that safe?

And what exactly is it filled with?
WTS: 17" beater wheels 4 lug, Dell Studio 1555 Laptop, Volvo Lip, Nikon mount lenses, BuddyClub wing, and more. PM me.
