Thanks for the answers guys. I have another question
Anyone know were to get the left clear side marker for the 2002 ep3? Last night i guess someone tried stealing mine and broke the clip and the clear frame.
Might as well get the orange JDM ones yo.

What are some tips to seeing if a used valve cover is still in good condition?
I'll be getting a new gasket, but as far as the valve cover..
any certain things I should look for?

just make sure all the gasket/seating areas are undamaged. there's a recess/channel where a rubber gaskets runs along the base of the VC. make sure that is good. also on the underside of the VC, at the base of where the 4 coilpack go, there are suppose to be 4 gaskets, make sure the mating area between gasket and coil pack tube area on VC are not severly damaged. it wasnt a deep scratch but i've scratched/nicked this surface a few times.
other points to look for is the mating surface for the dip stick, oil cap and the 6 cap/plugs around the top of the VC.
**cliff notes: so pretty much, where gaskets #1 (or #3,#4,#14), #6 & #8 would mate with the valve cover
TIP#1: when you replace the #4's, lube up the side of the gasket with a little motor oil. its a snug fit. too much resistance and you might tear the gasket.
TIP#2: honda recommends you use 'ultra flange II' and NOT hondabond. but a lot of people just use honda bond

For future reference, this place has them cheaper if you ever wanna go with the amber ones.

Forgot to point out that it doesn't include the wiring harness, as opposed to the showstoppers one.

Surprising to see ICB as the "cheap" place to go for anything, but yeah, that's a really good price for the ambers. I traded someone my clears for mine.
