thank you for the info sir. i definitely won't be stingy with the grease on the install.
i'm thinking upgrading to RSX coils and inverted tie rods would be a good idea as well.
I'm using RSX-S D2's got them for $800 shipped new. Using 9kg fronts and custom 20kg rear springs that I ordered from D2 USA.
Love them, I thought going cheap on coils would be disaster but so far it hasn't. I actively autocross and this setup I have is boss.
My ride height is ~0.5" lower than stock but I also have other suspension mods:
DC5-R aluminium front LCA's
Buddy Club extended ball joints
T1R inverted tie rod ends for DC5-S
Adjusted the ride height on these coils is very easy to do and straight forward. Also, HIGHLY RECOMMEND you grease the spring perches and the pillow ball upper strut mount (if you get the pillow ball). You will not get coil bind noise if you actively grease them or clunking sounds either from the mounts.

If you order from a D2 vendor you can get custom spring rates from D2 USA. Just get in phone contact with the vendor so they can order your rates before they ship it out to you. The D2's come with 9kg front and 9kg rear, great for DD not so much for auto-x or road racing lol.
Do DC5 Recaros bolt on directly to our cars? Do I need to get DC5 Rails?
Does anyone know off hand if an 02-04 RSX base front knuckle is the same as an 04-05 ep front knuckle?
cheapest iacv on the net for the EP3????
Mod list: k20a2, PRB IM, 550cc, t3/t4 revhard kit
I opened the revhard base map and changed the injector size to 550cc, uploaded it and started the car. It rested the idle at 1.5k, even tho it's set at 750. My guess is that, it's because i haven't cut and re-weld the exhaust to fit the down pipe yet. So, its just running straight out the down pipe. Or is it something bigger than that?
Anyone on here who is using the OEM hood bra (nose mask) have this one problem like i have with bubble forming the hood after it remove. i recently install the oem nose mask on me car for like two day and after the rain i decided to remove it off to dry it, I noticed tiny little bubble forming across the hood where the nose mask cover go. any one experience this problem too?
nope, no rust. it look like it coming from the clear coat, paint look find. i dont really know how to explain it but it look like small water beads. the hood is still oem paint. it not really noticeable but I'm just curious.
Might buy the ebay mugen lip just for the heck of it and I would want it to match the paint of my SSM.
Would this work if I just wanted to DIY. Would the color be completely off? And if this is legit what primer should i use?

Does anyone else know any other paint that would match SSM of the EP3?
Or should i just bring it to a shop? This would be a cheap ebay lip and just wanna see how it goes.
