    any diffrence

    should i know something while swapping a k24a2 from a 2006 vs a 2004,only cause im a little bit worry and i wont buy the wrong one

    Correct me if i'm wrong but I believe the newer gen (06-08) K24A2's had slightly more power compared to the first gen (04-05).

    You should be able to swap in any of them without any problems.

    I'm guessing every engine that comes off of the line varies +/- 5hp

    Automatic 7100 rpm

    Note: The 2006-2008 K24A2 in the U.S. market Acura TSX has the following improvements
    Power: 205 hp @ 7000 rpm

    Increased intake flow:
    Intake valve + 1 mm oversize
    Intake cam High lift lobe with 0.9 mm more lift and 12 degrees more duration

    The 06 is a bit better but the 04-05 is still a great motor...... I know where there is an 04 with 50,000 kms ready for pick up in montreal 1500

    LOL thats the going rate but your right if you shop around you might find one cheaper. I got mine from montreal for $900 but with a bit more than 50,000 kms

    1200$ for a 2005 at 50 000km i believe its cheaper

    Just make sure you pull the valve cover or check all the stamps on the block and head, alot of people have been selling k24a1 & k24a8 as k24a2's lately. Thats not a bad price though as long as you don't have to ship it.
