As much as I like OEM...the 04-05 CTR tails look pretty ricy to me. Id actually prefer the USDM 04-05 tails since their signals are orange...the red/clear JDM pieces look even more altezza ish to me.

I would NEVER rock those 04-05 Type R tails. I don't care how JDM/EDM you are, they're heinous.

haha finally someone who agrees with me that the JDM 04-05 tails look altezza ish. I did rock the 04-05 USDM tails for a bit as I felt they freshened up the EP3 but the more I looked at em...the more I missed the 02-03 tails. Maybe it was the chrome in em...I dunno but it just felt off to me. In my opinion the best tailliight options for the EP3 are :
02-03 USDM
02-03 JDM
maybe i will just reclear mine so they are nice and shiny again

So these would be direct plug and play for my 02? would just need colored bulbs?
EDIT: After doing some researching they have pretty awful reviews and all the other forums Ive checked on have pretty much said that its a terrible place. Their BBB rating is F. Sucks, b/c I really really like those tails. Has anyone purchased them?

i was actually planning on doing that redout setup myself. was one can of the van's paint enough to do both lights? they seem kinda small to meOh yeah same here, forgot that i painted the 04-05 tails back in the day lol.
*Just masked off the circle and used Van's taillight paint. Got the idea from a fellow ephatcher.
It looked different from the 02-03 "dead red" tails in the sense that there were more vibrant/translucent. It was fun while it lasted. The paint was top notch...prolly should have put clear coat and it would have been all good. Although the Van's tail light paint claims it has built in clear.
you can use metallic red from duplicolor metalcast works just the same. but comes in a bigger can and cheaper
