Tein S-Tech with driver side higher than passenger?

I just got new tokico blue shocks with new tein S-Tech springs and all new honda bushings on front and rear control arms. the car has sat on the new setup for over a month and the passenger side has a 1 finger gap and the driver side is a little more almost a 2 finger gap. this doesnt make sense because my weight is on the high side when i drive it every day. does anybody have this problem with just springs? im taking it to the shop because they want to check it out.

First off, your ride height sounds too low on s techs to be the ep3 specific springs, im guessing you have em2 springs....this is a common computer system mixup from tein...many people get the wrong springs from tein...the em2 tein s techs are extremely undersprung from ep3 stock and sag very low as a result...as a result they don't do much to level the car...if they were for the ep3 they are pretty stiff but you'd have like 3 or 4 finger gap

Second, did you tighten your suspension with pre load applied to the suspension geometry or did you final tighten it with it hanging...that may cause it to sit unevenlly...

Here is a comparison of the em2 springs on an ep vs ep springs on ep
I learned this from personal research...when tein searches in their computer one way the em2 springs come up as for the ep3, if they search another way they come up for the em2...this is why they so often get sold completely on accident to ep3 owners...

White car is mine on the em2 stechs and the black car is on the ep3 spec tein s techs...I checked both cars spring part numbers with tein...this is all 100% confirmed first hand info...both cars were also on level even ground

    my ep is white...

ive opened the door and jumped on the car again and again and they are not going down any further, it looks like one front and rear pair are different specs vs the other set. they can cut me a check for the installation bill if they mix match springs in the box or give me some super streets 50% off. if the black car is in fact on ep3 specific teins then i want my money back because my hfp's are lower than that and they are not even rated at a full inch, tein claims 1.4 inches.

a shop did the install so i dont know how they did it. all they do is imports so i assume they know what they are doing, besides they are a tein dealer.

If you had a shop to it, then bring it back to them, show them what the problem is and make them fix it. The only benefit to having someone else do it is that if something is wrong with the install, then you can point the finger elsewhere.

Well those are the facts...I say don't go with tein...order progress...the spring rate is the same as the tein s techs but the drop is almost where my car was on the wrong teins, but I don't scrape like I did with the em2 teins...progress cost $150...get those then make th shop give you your money back and swap them out
    my ep is white...

Like I said, one of the best benefits of having someone else do it, keep bringing it back till they fix it. is it higher on one side front AND rear or just higher on the driver front?

the right side is 1 finger gap, the left front is a little more than 1 finger gap. and the left rear is at least 2. if you get a measuring stick out i have 4 different heights if you want to get really technical.

its usually one thing after another. i didnt think i could go wrong with something as simple as springs and they are made in Japan and supposed to be application specific!
