Change dash lighting?

I love the interior detailing in the EP but cannot stand the orange dash lighting, especially behind the speedometer and tach. It would look way better if it was a crimson red to match the rest of the interior detail (seat and shift knob threading, hazard button, etc...).

It seems to me that this would be quite the undertaking to change but I was wondering if anyone has thought of it or knows if it is even possible.

Somebody once posted pics about changing the colors, and they had used colored lighting plastic sheets ("gels", as they're called in the stage lighting industry) to change the color.

To sum up --

Take the dash apart, take out the factory orange gels, and replace with identically-cut gels of your choice.
