wat class? stock?
Now designated as "The TK Project"
Started this day off really early. Why? You may ask. Well it was to pick up my 1999 Honda Civic Si race car. I had two choices, either a 2000 in Milano Red or my friend's 1999 in Black. After looking over both cars, i determined that the black car was the much better deal.
Cost me $6000 for either car, but the black car came with:
-New Transponder
-BNIB Koyo Radiator
-10 Si Wheels Total (4 on the car and 6 spares)
-Used Hood
-2 New Hoosier R6 Tires
-BNIB Clutch
-BNIB OEM Honda Front Rotors
-much much more.
"TK" as i bought it:
"TK" in action:
How "TK" sits now:
Plans for the build are simple. Make "TK" as fast as possible on a tight budget! As well as focusing on doing all of the work myself or with the help of my buddies.

Damn clean come up! Congrats! Cant wait to hear what else you do to it!
It is currently a Showroom Stock C car. It will remain one until the end of this years SCCA national season. I may or may not rent the car out to out of town drivers. It's hard to pass up $1200 for a weekend to rent to other racers. Plus there will be a contract so that all ends are covered in case of an accident, death or dismemberment, and damage to the car. Next winter it's game on!
Tell me about it man! Finally got to drive a fun car that i enjoy. Needs some fixin up here and there. Other than that it's a solid car! Tried getting a hold of you to come up and visit, but you never called back.
Thanks, pics make it cleaner than it really is. SCCA's 50-50 rule is kicking in hardcore. If you don't know what that is, the car must look undamaged from 50ft while it's traveling 50mph.
More pics will be posted later when i have time to get them. I need to remove a lot of vinyl from the car since i'm not being paid by these old sponsors, plus some are personal between my friend and her father from when she was racing. Next year i'll be on the hunt for sponsors. Shooting for Time Attack at the very least.
First priority is to purchase a different bucket seat. As much as i love how the Kirkey Road Racing seat holds me in. Getting in and out of it with such a high door bar is a B*TCH! My ex got stuck in the damn thing for over 10 minutes, i had to pull her out of the seat. So i am contemplating another Buddy Club like i had, however with how fast the seat faded i'm thinking twice about it. Possibly a Corbeau?? Don't know, i'm on the hunt. Need sliding seat rails as well, the ones in the car are able to slide with the use of tools and a lot of time.
Going to shoot a vid at how bad it is to get in and out of with the Kirkey!
