So... I was just wondering if both the water pumps were the same... I did my swap and am using the CRV Water Pump without issues... So... is there a difference? The DIY says to use the EP3 pump.

yeah.... thats what I was wondering to. When I called Honda for the new pump I bought I asked for the CRV one and they asked if it was Manual or automatic. It still works but I am just curious.
They are the same pump/gasket. I have personally interchanged each.

From personal experience the k24a2 pump is different to the k20a3.
Dunno about the k24a2 water pump, but any k with the oil cooler will have a different water pump and gasket than the k24a1/k20a3... so the coolant passage should be different as well.
