    Can i get some feedback on CF intake

    ive seen these cf intakes and they seem different but seem to have some hp with them

    give me some feedback!

    i bought one off the classifieds here... ive yet to put it on tho. im putting it on friday when i do my k24a2 swap so itll be tough to tell. i was wondering the same thing tho... i just got it for my engine to look good to be honest lol. i bought a carbon kevlar. once i get the motor in and get some dyno time ill swap out intakes and see what kinds of numbers i put up. i have a feeling its gonna yield little to no gain... and might even lose power over the convential CAI

    They claim 18hp gains but idk about that one. Im installling mine with a k24a1 swap as well so i wont be able to compare. People are tellin me to go with the injen 3in cai but im gonna stick with the whale penis. Also, dink how are u so low?! Your exhaust doesnt scrape?

    There are other intakes that provide better and greater engine gains for sunstantially less money. The issue with the whale penis that really stands out is that it sit's in the hottest portion of the engine bay and has ZERO thermal protection. Very similar gains can be had with the Hondata gutted stock airbox mod.

    They are cool looking, and will do the job, so if that is the look you want, then dont worry about it. Being in Cali presents it's own unique problems.

    people doing the k24 swap, if you dont change the stock intake mani...this intake wont work due to the angled throttle body
