Only suggestion I can make, and I'm telling you this not because I want you to do it but because it seems you're doing this out of desperation.

Find a K20A3 head or K24A1 head and replace it so you can use your stock ECU.

The ONLY way I can think of this working is if you used the PRB ECU from an 02-04 Type S.

Even then you won't be running right cause that motor runs an 11.1:1 comp vs. the K20A3 9.8:1.

Yea you would and that's a PITA to get the dealer to cooperate with you.

Honestly, go to a local junkyard and source any Accord/CRV/Base RSX/EP3 head and replace yours if you really can't afford KPro.

about 80 bucks, even then your risking the entire motor, no one is even sure if it'll start or even run right. the compression of the a2 is way higher than the a3's

You can run a a2 head without kpro, BUT you at least need the A2's ECU because of the different type of VTEC. It will be appreciably SLOWER than a stock EP3. The short term fuel trim will adjust the fuel map to achieve the correct A/F ratio during closed loop operation, but as soon as you enter open loop(acceleration) the engine will be rich as a pig and drip fuel out of the tailpipe, LOL This will greatly decrease the life of the engine due to fuel washing the cylinder walls.
