      There is a DIY on CRSX on how to do so but it looks complicated and annoying.

      Ah ok great thank you for the info! By the looks of the unit it looks like a pain so I just ordered the whole thing. It's just frustrating knowing that motor is still good.

      you can try selling it. maybe someone will want it for what ever reason. I've trying to sell my 02-03 WR for 6 months now and noone wants it.
