How low are you looking to go? Can you do the work yourself or do you have a competent shop you can use? Are you going to do springs or springs and upgraded struts or coilovers?

Search around for a guy with the username mustclime, and listen to what he has to say.

I believe he has a sticky on suspension too, worth a read, then you won't want Raceland coilovers if you go by what is mentioned in the article.

I like my Racelands and have no problems, Its no racing suspension but its cheap, reliable and gives me the stance I want.

im thinking of just doing springs cuz they are the cheapest, i just want a nice stance, without having to worry about bottoming out so much and a smooth ride.

Don't go lower then an inch drop. Suspension geometry will change significantly and not in your favor.

Springs on stock struts are going to cause you more problems in the long run. Don't cheap out on something as important as supension, your car is riding on it.
