    bchaney's k24 vbp ep3

After half a lifetime of research, planning, stockpiling, building, and adjusting, the k24 is in and running strong. I've got some loose ends to tie up before she's fully DD-able but I'm glad this project is mostly complete and I can enjoy the results of all the hours of work.

My goal was to build the ultimate DD - high quality, reliable power. This is why I went with mostly Honda/Acura parts. I want this motor to run for 300k+ and I have no doubt it will.

Thanks to Doug and the ephatch community for all the help with this build.

I will post more pictures of my ride in the future.

    My setup:

    06 Honda CR-V 2.4L block
    09 Acura TSX pistons
    06 Acura TSX rods
    04 Acura RSX-S oil pump
03 Acura RSX-S water pump and oil cooler
    04 Acura RSX-S crank pulley

02 Acura RSX-S cylinder head with dual valve springs
    06 Acura TSX cams

    03 Honda Accord transmission internals
    06 Honda Civic Si LSD
    04 Acura RSX-S flywheel
    Competition stage 2 clutch

    Injen 3" CAI
06 Honda Civic Si intake manifold
    09 Acura RDX injectors
Hybrid Racing fuel rail with stock pulse damper
    SSR replica 4-2-1 header
    Vibrant high-flow spun metallic cat
    Thermal 3" exhaust

Avid Racing motor mounts - 62a rear and tranny, 75a passenger side
Energy Suspension front motor mount insert

    Tuned by Evans Tuning

I opened up the tranny to put in the LSD so I figured I'd add the Accord internals for fuel economy when cruising in 5th.

I'm guessing you still have to adjust your speed sensor? Otherwise, thats one HELL of a 3rd gear, 20-140!?! Yowza!! :P

    Nice numbers!

Is this the rated hp to the flywheel, or the tires? If tires, that is awesome.
