    Lightbulb Hard water stained visors!

Sup, I bought my JDM Visors used and they aren't in the GREATEST condition, I washed, clayed, washed, clayed again just to be sure and I can not for the life of me get these hard water stains out. Has anyone ever tried CLR or other products that are used to clear up hard water stains? Will I damage or weaken the plastic with these products?

    That meguiars plastx works great
it like freaking melts plastic haha

    I'd try that
I've only used them on headlights

And I thought there was a DIY on here about renewing visors?
    It shouldn't be too old
I think I saw it like 4 months ago somewhere

Yeah I usually just wax it with my PC7424. That gets out all the hard water spots and swirl marks. Comes out looking brand new.

Powertools/Buffers melt headlights, hand work does not.

You just need to polish them w/a fine polish/rouge. Try an headlight restoration paste or I just use Mothers Metal and Mag polish. After that wax your visors w/car wax to protect them.

***I have been waxing my headlights since day 1 (2003) and my headlights are crisp and clear, NO YELLOWING!!
