    Hardrace roll center ball joints

couple of questions for people running them..

did you have to get different sway bar end links?

any issues fitting a 15 inch wheel on with them on?

how big of a bitch are they to install? i have the Honda ball joint tool at work and a lift and press to use..

any last, my stock ball joints are toast.. im lowered on tein s techs and tokiko blues.. should i just be getting a new set of oem joints?

subscribed i have buddy clubs waiting for install interested on the answers to the endlink part. been wanting to do it but we dont have a press at work and i dont wanna hammer it it in like we usually do. its a bitch getting it in the slot, but it shouldnt be too hard since you have the press.

i am pretty sure there is no extra additive needed such as end links as you mentioned. i think they are just press in and install and youre good to go. the roll center adjusters are to used to correct suspension geometry once lowered

Ball joint is just a ball joint. Press out and press in. I don't think it's possible on a press though because the upper mount to the strut gets in the way. I installed Megan RCA on mine. You have to take the whole knuckle off. To do this you have to take the brake calipers off. Take off the 32mm axle nut. Undo the stock ball joint 17mm nut and the pin. unbolt the 17mm nut and 19mm bolt from the strut. Slide hub/knuckle off the axle spline. I had problems with this part since the driver side axle didn't want to come out. Had to use a air hammer. After that I rented a ball joint press tool from pepboys and did a whole bunch of trial and error removing it. Installing new RCA was easier. Megans use a C Clip for extra safety incase the ball joint decides to back out.

Roll center adjusters shouldn't affect your sway bar / endlinks.

27rocks do the Hardrace RCAs have a C clip that goes on the bottom of the joint after it's pressed in?

The RCA's will indeed change the swaybar around a little, and if anything it should INCREASE clearance around the header area by returning the LCA to it's proper orientation on dumped suspensions(dumped = 2"+ drop).

Yes there is a C lip you put on after you press them into the knuckle.

So stock endlinks will still work? What about if I need to throw my stock wheels back on?

I had read that someone ordered the BC extended ball joints, only to find out they only fit dc5 and type r.

Is the hardrace ones a direct swap?

Correct. These will fit in any Ep3 knuckle, base 02-04 RSX and 02-04 RSX-s.
