    Looking for new tires

I'm expecting to move soon (1100 mile road trip to Huntsville, AL) for a new job. I currently have Bridgestone Potenza G009 All-Season tires. Coming up on 5 years and about 42k miles with them, but I'd like to get new tires before I go.

I would would like to hear opinions from others on what they had, particularly those with a similar size. I looked at the following at TireRack for some reviews:

    Tire Size: 205-50-16

    Summer:
    BFGoodrich g-Force Sport
    Yokohama S.drive
    Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval

    All-Season:
    Michelin Pilot Exalto
    Yokohama Avid Envigor
    Goodyear Eagle GT
    Hankook Ventus V4

My cousin works at a local Firestone, so I'll see they have do when I stop in.

so far I'm on my 2nd set of bfgoodrich g-force sports and still going good. I've heard good things about the Goodyear Eagle GT but haven't tried them yet. I'm also on 205-50-16.

I run the 225/50/16 dunlop direzza sport z1 star specs for summer/autox, and they are a great performance/autox tire, but also do well in the wet compared to others I've tried. For daily/winter use, I run 205/55/16 kumho ecsta LX platinum (600 treadwear lol), they are very cheap and are a decent all season tire, haven't had any problems (aside from no traction in 3+ inches of snow, but what do you expect).

I've run the kumho ecsta asx before, and they are a very good performance all season tire. I generally like kumho tires for their price and durability.

I haven't tought about the Kumho; I'll have a look into those.

    Thanks for the responses.

**Edit: and I assume we're NOT talking about the All-Season G-Force Super Sport, but G-Force Sport Summer tire.

If they have Toyos in your size, I would recommend taking a look at them, specifically the Proxes 4. Great priced tire and ride quality and grip you get from them is outstanding. Tread wear is decent on them too. Had them in 215/45/17 on my EP and loved the shit out of them!

Edit: I bought my wheels and tire package for my EP here. Customer service and time to get the product was really good.

I found a local place that priced me a set of Hankook Ventus V4 for $457 total. Dad has a different size set of the same tire on a 323 and they're not bad so far.

Some of the local shops are really pricey on the performance tires. I found online cheaper, but the shipping brings the cost back up.
