Post DIY: Carbon Fiber wrap 3M DI-NOC installion (Center Dash)

First DIY .. Not going to be the greatest.

Get the wrap. Ill add a link to my brother where you can buy it.

Remove the Radio, turnie noobs, (a/c,defrost) buttons, shift boot, hazard switch, knock out and the top vents.

Cut the wrap about 1 inch longer, remove the white backing. place the wrap face down then place the plastic on top.

Heat up all the wrap and stretch it. Don't go crazy or it will look like crap, but pull it over.

Cut out the holes. Careful when cutting if you cut to far it will be ruined

Cut to about the end out my thumb nail

    Test fit. trim if needed.

Easy way to do the holes, heat up the spot HOT then use something (I used a Sharpie lol) keep the heat on while pushing down. Keep hold down for about 30sec so the wrap can cool and keep its shape.

    Here's what you should get.

You will still need to work the wrap to forum.

    This is the final

Installed in the EP (Sorry for the dark picture)

    Here's my brothers site http://www.therestylingcenter.com/
    Best is to email jmctaggart@therestylingcenter.com
Tell him I sent you :)

If any questions, ill try my best to answer them

kinda surprised you went with a di-noc instead of a regular vinyl...especially since 3m has their new line of vinyl which includes carbon
    my ep is white...

    great diy.
i personally like the silver trim. just wish there were a way to restore the silver that chips off.

great diy for anyone who wants to do this instead of searching for that oem honda one

i think this looks a ton better than the honda one too. the honda one is expensive as hell and looks really fake. this actually has somewhat of a real carbon fiber textured look.

x2..I had the oem Honda one and to be honest I like the carbon vinyl wrap way better. looks more realistic and for fraction of the price of the oem one. plus if u get the sheet long enuf u can wrap more things and it still be cheaper.

bump nice diy bro I did exactly the same thing except without the sharpie. lol

Great job and I agree that they are both better looking than the Honda one.
