I'm hoping they come out, havnt checked yet. Any ideas on how to polish the lip? They're a lil curbed in spots but not super deep. Thought about sand paper and steping up to a higher grit...maybe to 1000 or something, then a light wet sand and some wetal polish. Looong process

yeah it is a long process. basically, it's

800 grit
1000 grit
1500 grit
2000 grit
polish
sealant.

Sweet...I plan on masking off and blasting this week or next then polishing lip then paint!!! Working 6 to 7 days a weeks makes it hard to do these things :(

nice work man. just use an etching primer followed by a filler primer and those should just sand right out by the time you're ready to paint.

Damn I didn't even think about primer! Got a lil ahead of my self

haha well you'll probably wanna do at least some filler primer. i don't think the etching primer is totally necessary, cause i didn't use it on mine and i noticed only the paint chips, the primer always stays underneath so like i said the etching primer is recommended but not really necessary.

And I'm assuming filller primer will fill some voids, then sand to smooth out?

yeah that's basically the idea. but it won't fill anything more than minor imperfections so you'll wanna take care of as much as you can with the heavy duty shit like a grinder and sandpaper.
