    k24a1 tuned

So after having the swap for about 2 years, I finally got it tuned. Completely stock internally. Bolt ons are:

    AEM CAI
    hondata img
    Kpro
    DCRH
    HKS hipower exhaust.

    180 whp
    161 ft lbs

On a mustang dyno.... Is that good?

Thanks. I just never realised how much more the 24 responded to boltons than the stock motor did.

Ive seen 190whp and 173wtq on a stang dyno... but there are too many variables to compare.

What you have right now is awesome... compared to the stock a3 that the EP comes with.

Some TSX pistons and bigger cams (as mentioned) would have you buying front tires more than you would like. lol

yea I have no problem sharing I am in a shit-fight with the tuner right now as they have yet to send me my tune. I wasnt there for the tuning process as I was in the middle of a move... Soon as I get it, I will post it up.

I'm just confused as to how a stock motor at 160/160 with I/RH/E with tune can produce 180 to the wheels (thats 211 to the crank assuming 15% drivetrain loss)

Im not complaining by any means, just amazed I guess.

Ya on my first time dynoing, I seen great numbers by a street tune Ba82ep3 put together for me, Was like 179whp/159tq, so same numbers, this was on a dynojet too.

great numbers... the good thing is your not limited to 300whp. A simple a2/z1/z3 head swap and you will pick another 40hp. Enjoy the tq man and you are right this motor is what the ep should of came with.
