12v Socket Went Out...

Whats Up Everyone

I was charging my phone one day in my car & all of a sudden it went out.

I was wondering if it could be a fuse that went out? Has this happened to anyone ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

hey man, generally those sockets stay pretty legit for a long time without problems , it is a very good possibility its just a blown a fuse, is there anything else not working in the car right now? im not exactly sure whats on the same circuit as that in our ep3s but check all your interior stuff (radio, flashers, gauge cluster etc...) if any of them are out as well its most likely a fuse, or you can just check the fuse and skip the checking of other components

It has happened to me a few times now. It was a blown fuse which is located under the dash.

or maybe its not a fuse and the entire fuse box went out.


typically when the cigarette lighter goes out, its the box that went out. you might have to change that out and its like a 500 fix!!!!!



i kid haha its gunna be the fuse unless the line got burnt out which i highly doubt it did

It's fuse 18, 3rd from right/2nd row from bottom- if I'm not mistaken...
It should need a 15 amp fuse.

i dont see how my post constitutes me as a noob at all, i suppose youre assuming i dont know about cars because of a low post count? or because i didnt know the exact fuse or amperage of it? but im far from a noob when it comes to building hondas so thanks for trolling sweetie :)
