Ok so I'm looking to reflash my ecu and had a few questions. Mainly, how long does it take to get it back? It's my daily driver so I can't have it out for very long. Also has anyone ever gotten theirs off of club rsx? They have it on there for $290 which looks like a good price.
I'm from NY and I overnighted it on a Monday and got it back that Friday, expect to have a downtime of around 5 days
I'm in NC, I doubt the would make it a faster turn around time. But 5 days is a lot longer than I was thinking/hoping. I didn't see the time on the hondata website, I guess I just overlooked it. I'll have to figure out something for transportation to work and school
Or find someone with an ecu for salea and buy theirs and send it in for a reflash, then sell yours for what you paid after you get the reflash in (you'll have to deal with programming the immobilizer at the honda dealer on the new ecu)

How much would it cost to reset the immobilizer?
don't bother doing that, just see if you can get a ride and send it out. It would cost you $100+ if you brought it to the dealer
True, but for the cost of another ECU and then having the immobilizer reset I would probably be close the the Kpro mark and should go ahead and pick it up. I'm getting the Reflash first to kinda ease the cost of the Kpro down the line cause I am seriously wanting to boost in the next year.
I ordered my reflash from crsx sent it to them overnight on a Monday got it back from hondata wed afternoon
your also in California where hondata is located
I was thinking about it tho, but why would it take them longer to reflash an ECU from the east coast than the west coast? It's the same parts and the same process just different locations and if I'm next daying it to them and their next daying to me shipping wise. Why would there be a difference in time? It makes no sense
I got mine (kpro) back within 4 business days back in 04.

I can see how Kpro might take a little longer than reflash but i don't see why everything isn't a set time. It shouldn't take that much longer for each ECU if its the same process and its getting shipped next day both ways. If someone got their reflashed ECU back in two days on the west coast then it should be the same for me on the east shouldn't it? Or am I just way off.
