    i just actually did my seat this weekend as well, only i used a bissel lil green machine after scrubbing with wolite to suck up all the nasty....ugh the color of the water that came out made me wanna throw up lol . shit is so soft now and looks brand new. nice write up

    Yeah using a wet vac of some kind or a carpet cleaner with the attachment is deff the way to go with sucking up the nasty crap your trying to scrub off. But the main trick is really the woolite. Everything else you do to refine or make it better is really just what you have laying around.

    I wish i had a device such as the one you used when i did mine it would have dried them out 100% faster...

    I clean mine like once a year cuz they are all red. Bout to do them again since my car is down for a week or so anyways.

    i can see if i can do my friends seats. He has my old Si's. But i mean its the same material so there really is no differance. The red actually shows dirt and how clean they get better imo

    was thinking getting a shop vac soon not just for this but the car floor and mats and gonna try it my seats are horrendous so ill def post before and after with the stock seats thanks for the Diy

    Yeah please do, the more before and after pics the better for the thread.

    A wet vac is totally the way to go to help get them dry and lift the grim once you have scrubbed them.

    wet vac doesent suck up that much NEED a bissel or something to that effect to get a deep cleaning effect thank god my folks had 1
    DIRTY/CLEAN


    this pic doesn't really give this method to much justice but really it works i love the clean smell my seats have now, and no more shinny matted look for my seats thanks 04SiSpeed

    I used diluted Woolite and Bissell little green proheat on my Recaro's before and was very pleased with the result.
