    help! i think i need spacers

    hey ephatch imma try to make this short and sweet, just bought rota gforce gold rims 17x8 and the inner lip of the rim is rubbing against the lower arm (rear rims) where the strut bolts up i no weird, guess its too wide, i no the bore is 64.1 and im 5x114, looking to get 5mm spacers or will 3mm be ok? does anyone no if the bore has to be the same size on the spacer as the hub bore? or bigger to fit over it? also will i rub with 225/45/17? in the rear? i no alot of questions but im not too sure when it comes to things like this...thanks alot everyone and any help will be appreciated, o and anyone know where i can purchase them? i dont no if i can trust ebay for things like this

    get 5mm spacers with a 64.1mm hub bore. I got mine from showstoppers, they are h&r

    You will definitely need to measure the offset of the wheels if you don't know them, otherwise we can't help you crunch numbers and tell you exactly what you need. Look here:

    If they're rotas it'll say on the inside of the wheel along with the width

    Will I need extended lugs? It comes with it already seperate from the spacer tho

    no, 5mm is the biggest you can go without needing extended lugs. I have had 5mm spacers on for years without extended lugs and have been perfectly fine

    get a 13mm spacer

    17x8 +35 is nice and flush. no poke.

    For 5mm, you will not need extended lugs (studs?). Correct me if I am wrong, but I think you can go up to a 10mm with stock studs.
