    Talking Loud Horns

I exchanged the factoy horns (Hi/Lo) for a custom set (Hi/Lo) from Pep Boys. Tired of getting dissed on the road? Do this.

The horns sound like your nerighbors Expedition.

I have more pics if interested. Front bumper removal, wiring, etc.

    :p

I think a nice set of air horns would be perfect.

Ya ever get into a good "clean out the closet mode" and do something stupid... like My friend years ago gave me a horn like your picture is of... and I've had it around for years, but never felt the need to put a louder horn on my saturn... of course now that might be useful on my 02 Si... too bad it's already in the landfill :-( Damn it... Sometimes a clean room is less efficient than the "throw your stuff in little piles method"... Bill

Wow you took your bumper off. I just squeezed my hands in there. then wired from undernieth the bumper.
I did a similer install with a set of FIAAM high way blasters, and they are nice, but I am ready to go to a set of three tone air horns.
Nice install. you should paint your head lights while your bumper is off;)

    Cool Thanks

Thanks for the comlpiments on the FIAMM Highway Blasters (you called it greenguy). I wanted some air horns, but couldn't resist the absolute ease of installation with deez (Cake!).

To date I have avoided two sideswipes (SUV & Full size Truck coming over into the lane I was driving in), blasted the SHI* out of them with the horns, and they got their ass back in their lane QUICK

I have blasted 1 person that wouldn't let me merge (in 5 MPH traffic) onto the FWY??? The passenger turned over to look at the driver after I gave them a "toot":p

When people here them they think it's a truck.

When I find myself in the midst of a group of trucks, SUVs, and mini-vans, I keep a thumb over the horn button just waiting to BAAAAAAAAAA;) loud horns = saved ass and many laughs

Lightbulb Not much involved. Big FN diff vs. stock

    Thanks

Easy to remove the front bumper once all of the attachment "snap pins" and screws are removed. Once the bumper is off (have to yank it from each side), just unbolt the factory horns mount the aftermarkets horn using same location and fasten the ground wire (the wire looped back to the bolt in the pic) to the mounting location on the horn. Plug in the remaining wire to the horn and that is it. You can do this without taking off the bumper, it'll be a little tight though.

Point them down so water doesn't settle inside.

The horns sound exactly like a full size truck (more so Chevy than Ford after hearing "the public" arm their alarms in various parking lots).

    Step by Step

I will (slowly) post what I did.

This is what the factory installed hornS (1 low tone 1 high tone = 2) look like. Deez are what you want to remove.
