Headliner omit?

Whats up guys, I dont have an EP3 anymore but I figured this question is universal enough. (I now have a 1985 Honda CRX HF) but anyways in regards to the EP3/CRX/etc. If I removed the headliner, will the car get considerably/unbearably hot inside the cabin on hot/sunny days? Is it just a difference of a few degree or 10-15+ degree difference? If its just a few degrees then I dont mind but if its gonna be hot like hell inside the car then I most likely wont do so. Reason being is I am not a fan of the gray headliner in the car (didnt bother me so much in the EP3 and since the EP3 was fairly new I didnt wanna deface the car) but with my CRX, its only a 2 seater and pretty soda can like already (weights only 1,713 lbs) and the looks of the car is kinda hood status so I dont see removing the headliner to be defacing the car. Input greatly appreciated, thanks.

You can always spray the head liner a black tint..
