2005 ep3 trunk wont open

ok guys , the car has sat a long time, maybe around 10 months , basically the trunk wont open, the handle is very stiff , and the lock mechanism works fine. Anyone else have this problem ?

spray some WD-40 all around the trunk rubber molding and to the lock as well

or if you feel the lock that locks and unlock just pull the trunk like a man... lol

Use your key to unlock the trunk before trying to force it open. You will hear the rear lock make noise when you push the unlock button even if it doesn't fully unlock it.
