thats pretty funny- ive been watching his thread for a while now. my shop has an 02 ep just sitting around collecting dust because the owner skipped out on the repair bill. ive been trying to convince the shop owner to do the k24a4 turbo swap for some time now- unfortunately he isnt the biggest import fan lol

A friend of mine had almost the exact same setup with the same turbo on his B16 and it took all day for it to spool compared to mine. I'm sure a K24 would spool it that much faster than my A3. It's all relative and displacement certainly puts it a step in the right direction.

Yea im sure that a turbo on a K24 should deff spool up way quicker than it would on a k20.

I love the twin! I've been pretty bored of forums and have been too busy working on other ppls cars to get enough time in on mine.

My guess is he thinks it's a compression issue, that the starting compression would be too high.

Ok so I am really debating whether to get a k24a2 or a1... From what I have read and been informed is that the internals on the a2 are better than the a1 but for some reason I hear that the a1 is boost ready... I need some info about both cause I am taking my car to the shop this Wednesday to get swapped with either the A1 or A2....

I have the EMUSA turbo kit, ID 1000cc injectors, BDL fuel rail, RBC manifold, 6 puck clutch kit, I know there is more just can't think right now please let me know what you guys think would be better
