I've been playing around with 3M vinyl for a little bit and thought I'd post my projects up here and get some feedback from everyone.
Some one gave me a sample of the CF dinoc so I pulled off the hoodscoop on my best friends celica and wrapped it up
Shortly after I did the hood in matte black. learned a lot about over stretching and how to use heat. I'm going to be re wrapping it shortly here.
Then I decided to do the roof and hatch of the car. It came out alot better in my opinion.
A little while after my roommate asked me to do his G35 which had a lot of oxidation on the hood and roof.
The roof came first.

I wonder what happens if you spray clear over the vinly
Matt!! Hook it up LOL! Let's do My Ep's hatch.
is it the light that reflects on the G35 hood, or the weaves are actually not straight? That's a lot of sample. Care to share. lol
That stuff is really easy to work with! One of my groomsmen is 3M certified and works for a vinyl company that does all the Wegmans grocery trucks. We just did his H stock Fiat 124 in the 3M carbon and matte white vinyl. He gets crazy cheap pricing on that stuff. Full roll through his company for the carbon was only $800-$900. See if you can make friends with a wholesaler to pick it up on the cheap.
