So i spent a solid hour or so looking for this thread and I couldnt find it, so far i can tell that it is just held in by a couple clips and can be wiggled out with a flathead and some patience, is that right?

I'm not sure if our ep3's are the same but I've seen several DIY's for the RSX. I'm assuming ours comes out the same?

i am literally in the process of doing this to my car right now, and the process is identical, minus the ep3 has way more clips then the rsx counterpart but nonetheless it is the same. Taking the old rubber off is a major PIA, but is so worth it. Anything sure as hell beats the shity looking cracked junk that was on there

Just finished up the moldings and they look so stellar. Prob the easiest Diy I have done in awhile. Prep is key tho if there are imperfections they WILL show up in the finish. I had to sand a few areas back down cause there were some high spots in the aluminum. No more ugly cracked moldings ftmfw

What kind of paint did you use? Any pics?

I used dupli-color trim paint (which is essentially low gloss black just has heat inhibitors to prevent fading) prep spray, adhesive promotor. I will post pics in the morning was kinda dark when i finished up.
