    Sticker Bombing Under the Hood

Found this on Instagram. I've thought about having my friend do some painting under my hood, but I kinda like this too, and I have a shoebox filled with stickers. Do you think stickers would last under there, with massive amounts of clearcoat? Same thing with painting...Have you any of you done stickers/painting, how's it holding up?

I've seen this before a few times, like the way it looks.
Prefer sticker bombing over painting something crazy under the hood.

I think it could last, maybe touch it up with clear coat every few months.

Plus you can't really fuck it up lol, and since you already have a show box full of stickers its free.

I had around 20 stickers under my hood when I had an rsx, no clear coat or anything. I had them for about 2 years and they never faded or peeled

If you do it get high heat temp clear. Put.a few coats it would look clean. If you like it do it. If you don't then dont do it lol. I have two hoods been thinking about it as well. :D

I have all the manufacturers of parts under my hood on the underside of my hood. Far from "stickerbombing", but I like it!

My friend has stickers literally on his valve cover, stickerbomb wrap on his plug cover, and other stickers under his hood and in his bay. You should be good. DO IT! Just make sure to post pics

As far as the stickers holding up, i wouldn't worry if you put a good amount of clear on it. I've had my center dash sticker bombed for 3 or 4 years with clear and i haven't had any issues. My front rebar is also sticker bombed with no issues in years. Only problem is they are a bitch to get off so you better hope you like it in a couple years lol

Probably depends on what they are printed on. Vinyl would be ok, but paper type stickers will fade / peel.

Not my cup of tea, it is unique though. (although I have seen a decent amount of stickerbombed lips/bumpers)

*Im sure the high quality vinyl decals can hold up to the heat/elements for a long time...the cheapy paper stickers wont stand a chance.

You'll be fine with putting stickers on under the hood...like said earlier in the post, vinyl stickers are fine, the paper backed stickers will fade. I had all the vinyl stickers under my hood with a turbo right there and had no problems and never put clear on
