i got my si like 3 months ago and in the manual it says the exterior lights should flash and the horn should honk when locking the car and it doesn't happen either way....i would like to know if anyone knows why it wouldn't do so. thanks and i have searched with no luck. thanks again.

yeah i make sure they lock every time i get out and use the key fob.
Change out the battery in the keyless fob. Cheap and easy. Does the red led flash when you push it?
yeah the little red light comes blinks on the key fob
Check the alarm fuse (pretty sure its in the engine compartment)
Does the car lock? I have a similar problem. After changing the driver side actuator my horn wont honk after locking car.
yeah it locks, at night the only way i can tell it locks besides checking the door is seeing the inside lights going off.
i checked the fuses under the hood and the ones under the steering wheel and non of them were bad, so I'm still confused on why its not working right.
anyone know anything?

Does your car have an aftermarket alarm that uses the stock key fob, when i got my car bran new from the dealer i had an aftermarket KARR alarm that uses the stock remote. I know those alarms there are setting where you can turn off the flashing lights and the honking
hmm im not sure about that because i have the stock honda key fob... how can i tell? on the window it says equipped with hondas deterant system.. or something like that.
