    what did you recently do?

did you jack your car up and the jack slipped?

try either adjusting the rubber bump stops (2 of them) or check the latch.

if it is damaged im sure just by looking, you should be able to identify if the supports or anything has been moved out of alignement. Open up the hood and take a look, be patient

I actually had a very similar prob happen to me when i bought my si 5 years ago and did the first oil change. The jack slipped out of the crossmember and hit the rad. support, bending it upwards. My hood would not close AT ALL so with a shit ton of persuading, patients, i managed to push the support back down (was a total red neck way to do it but i actually stood on the top of the rad. support and began to lightly hop up and down, and just my body weight managed to push it down so that the hood would close) After i swapped the motor i was able to "correctly" fix the support, but my red neck fix did the trick. I am not "condoning" doing this, i am just saying it was the quickest fix to my then only DD in my arsenal.
