    Fitment questions

My EP is a 2005, dropped 2 inches, and +/- 2 camber kit (front and rear) currently looking at some 17x7.5 rims with a +40 offset and I'll be running a 215/45/17 tire. Should I be worried about camber adjustment/scrubbing/rubbing or any problem that could come along with these rims? Any info is appreciated, thanks.

I think it will fit with minor fender rolling

Maybe, I have 205/55/16 tires right now and I do not rub/scrape nor am I tucking. But i figure if I go from a 55 to a 45 it will be about the same fit since I'm going up an inch in diameter but down in wall thickness?

    You should be fine.
I am currently running 225/50's on 16x7+42 with about 2 degrees negative out back, probably less, with no clearance issues. Thats about a half inch more diameter and half inch of width.

Well I just used a tire calculator site and compared the 205/55/16 to the 215/45/17.
Here are the differences (Remind you, I am going from a 205 to a 215):
Width: +10mm (little less than 1/2 of an inch)
Sidewall: -16mm (little more than 1/2 of an inch)
Overall Height: -6.6mm (little more than 1/4 of an inch)
Circumference: -20.73mm (little under and inch)
And since the overall height is actually smaller than the 16" and the circumference is small, I really shouldn't have an issues? Or so it seems to me anyway.

You shouldn't have problem with 17x7.5 +40. Since you have 2 inch drop, You probably have natural - camber. Which is plus if you don`t want to roll your fenders. If you want to guarantee yourself get 215/40/17

Yea, I guess to be safe a 215/40/17 would be good but I really want to fill up as much wheel space as possible I'm going to have to do some measurements and just check it out I guess

A 225/45 would be ideal. That is about the same diameter as the stock 205/55 16's and be nice and meaty on a 7.5 wheel.

    17

I have 17x8.25 +25 offset wrapped with 215/40. I have little wheel space. If I had 215/45 I would possibly have rubbing issue because of 8.25 wheels. If you want to fill up, your best choose would be 215/45 or 205/45
