What wheel size? I generally over-inflate my tires when they're stretched(to make sure they're solid and the bead stays seated), on my other wheels, I fill to oem specs(17x7, 205/45 @ F32/R30psi
so i just got some new tires the other day 215 40 17. they fit and look good, very little road noise, but for some reason the front tires look a little underinflated,i looked and saw a few other pictures of the same size on the ep and a few of them also seem a little underinflated. they are at 35 psi,my tires say theyre extra load. and i thought that was for a slightly bigger car but i had some bfg scorchers the same size a while ago and had a similar problem with the front. i know the car is heavier in the front and its sort of expected, but with 215 45 it never looked deflated at all.. is this normal and should i raise the tire pressure a little. i believe it said the max is 44 or 47 psi? help please?

17x7 tires arent stretches. Just a smaller size, for some reason they just look underinflated. Im wondering if i should up the front to 40 or 45.i wanted to try a smaller sidewall and see how it felt taking hard turns with them but i dont want to roll the tire over.
You're probably good with 35lbs in front. They will always look under-inflated since the weight of the engine is over the front of the car. If it worries you, you can always up the psi. I'm running 47f/45r-lbs on my tires.
I would run about 40-42psi up front myself. Keep in mind sidewall construction varies from company to company. Dunlop and Bridgestone are well known for some solid sidewall construction and thick rim beads.
I love bridgestone and dunlops because of the big rimbead michelin has good ones to. But the price for them is way out of my budget for my size. Im running capitoll sport uhp right now. Seems like a good tire for the price to far. Do u think i will be good with agressive turns so i dont roll the side over?
Never heard of that tire myself. As for your concerns with rolling the sidewall, well, theres only one way to know for certain...
Let us know the results.
ive run the middle of the tread down by over inflating. :(
the short sidewalls should prevent rollover...
i think you should be able to find a name brand tire for fairly cheap. check different sizes too. you'd be surprised how much price can vary between 2 close tire sizes.
Well ive read alot of good reviews about this tire. And until i get my suspension straight and get it aligned i dont want to go through tires. Thats y i got them. But they hav e good reviews. Low road noise. Good grip so far. Z rated all season.i like the tread pattern.
