Any Tips? Removing remaining Tar/Sound deadening

Hey guys, been going at this for a few months (dry ice) and i have removed up the tar but I still have some bloches or tar and residue left scattered around and such. I have been using sand paper and goof off etc.. Just looking for alternative methods please or advice lol.

ill post better pictures on request but you can see in the picture what i may be talking about.. I want to paint it all white inside and just make it clean btw.

anyway MY question is if anyone has any tips?... for me or advice? either from experience or just know how to get up all the remaining tar.

Gasoline works too LOL. I found this out after messing with the fuel pump assembly so many times and spilling fuel everywhere. The gas just tears through that stuff and use some good hazardous liquid absorbment to soak up the gas and pat the stuff with towels to get the tar/gunk out.
