Okay I'm looking to tweak the handling on my car a little bit so I'm going to go with some custom spring rates for my Buddy Club RSDs. Nothing too crazy, but a distinct change.
The problem I'm running into is I'm not sure the size of the springs. I suppose I could take my suspension apart and measure what is on there, then put it back on, then order my springs, then swap the springs out. But before I did that I thought I would check and see what anyone on here knows.
I e-mailed Albert at Buddy Club USA and this is what I got:
Front spring 200mm ID2.5 10k
Rear spring 150mm ID2.5 16K
So I know that the 10k/16k refers to the spring rate, does the 200mm/150mm refer to the spring length and the 2.5 is the inner diameter? The only reason I'm questioning is that seems awfully short for the spring length.

yeah the 2.5ID is the inner distance between the coils side to side in inches i.e. 2.5"I.D. once you get the height set where you want. i would recommended that you get aligned and corner balanced. corner balancing isn't required.

i just put on my rsds and the 200/150 are for sure the length of the springs! i believe inner diameter is the hole in the springs so from metal to metal
