Did you check before and after piston measurements at the skirt to see how thick the coating is? Double check your piston to wall clearances... that coating looks stout...

BA!!!!! Sup man, I did not check the clearances but when I spoke to swaintech they said there coating is not thick enough to cause you to bore it out. We coated the pistons right before installing and man the skirts do there job, the motor turned over with no prob so it will be good. The coating is made to absorb the oil, pretty neat how it works.

Cleaned the k24a2 head and got that torqued down

After I got the motor put together I went ahead and did a little exterior mod

Thanks fellas... I am just waiting for the crank pulse wheel to get here then I can put the covers on. Getting my GT3s powder coated this week, I need to get pics of that as well.

how much of a pain in the ass was it to get the wiper off the threaded bolt? I have everything off but the wiper, its rusted on. I'm going to have to grind it off, better then breaking my rear glass trying to pop it off.

Thanks Major... it took a little pulling on it to get it off, I actually sprayed some wd40 on to penetrate it then used a small pry bar with a towel to slowly work it off. Just dont get to strong with it lol.

Apologize for the slow updates, I got my intake mani powder coated and got the motor in the car. I need a couple more little things like the ktuned coolant housing and I have to extend my downpipe about two inches. Here are the pics..

Almost my dude... its close, today I ordered the last of my parts so once they come in next week I should be good to go

haha yeah buddy... I have a custom 2.5in catback going to a greddy sp2 muffler. I have a 3in down pipe to a 3in e-cutout, I do plan on going 3in all the way through. I already have the 3in muffler, all I have to do is order the resonator and go get her done. I just have to save up a little more to get it done thats all.

You're build is coming along so nice. Sometimes I envy how the K24's make torque so easily but I love being able to have a little more top end in each gear because I can rev my K20 higher! I can't wait to see what kind of sick numbers this bad boy puts out!

He's got the supercharger, I think he's just waiting on small stuff and the time to tackle the project? I could be mistaken. He's so hard to get a hold of, sucha busy man!
