Thanks fellas... unfortunately it is short lived. I finally did a pull yesterday off the wastegate and something came loose. Cant tell if its in the tranny or if my timing sprocket broke again. Because it sounds just like the same issue that caused the tear down the last time. Upsetting but will get her right

Name of the game brother! You play hard and break hard. I just recently put a hole in the bottom of my block from playing hard too. I'm not out yet, planning on picking up a K24A2 to drop in for the mean time and getting back into the game ASAP.

that was my game plan when my motor was down, i said fk it bit the bullet and built the motor

Thanks peeps... It was hard to find motivation but I got out there in the garage and found the problem. I mistake that I made, I forgot to tighten down the crank pulley bolt. I have to replace the pulley (has left to right play) and the timing firing gear because that broke as well. Everything else is OK and the the timing guide from HPT did its job.

You guys are awesome, and I appreciate the push to get this thing going.

Well I got her put back together and she is still making the same noise... Back to the diagnostic board to try and find out what the hell is wrong with my baby.

Quick update... I dropped the tranny and started it up and the slight knocking noise is coming from the motor. So I am going to rip her apart and find out for sure what this gremlin is, and since shes apart I cant help but want to upgrade a couple things haha.

This is a lifestyle that few would understand but when shes up and going shes like disney land, always puts a smile on my face

Found out what the noise might be.... My flywheel was becoming loose, i know I tightend down the flywheel bolts but I guess ish happens. This time around I am going to use some lock tight. And this evening i am picking up the new little addition

Sweet, I always use loctite on stuff like that.
