    Bad Knock sensor

In the front of the block, right below the intake manifold. Let me know if you need to know how to replace it.

You can get them from rockauto.com - search for a knock sensor, price is 35 - 45 bucks.

As far as replacing it, it's pretty easy.

1)First you need to go buy a 27mm socket.
2)Remove the splash shields underneath the front bumper so you can get your hand up underneath the intake manifold. If you're a skinny dude, you may be able to bend them out of the way to get your arm up.
3)Locate the knock sensor, unplug the connector. It's directly below the intake manifold. If you shine a flashlight through the opening between the 2nd and 3rd runners, you can see it.
    4) Use a socket wrench and the 27mm socket to remove the bad sensor.
    5) Replace the sensor, tighten down with the 27mm socket.
    6) Plug it in

These are drastically easier to work on once you get used to where everything is, especially once you remove an engine/tranny a few times.

**NOTE** The knock sensor should be torqued to spec (23 ft lbs). If its not, it may not read correctly.
This wouldn't be the cause of your issue, im just including it since were on the subject of knock sensors.
