My EP3 Herpes is flaring up again...

So as a few of you may have seen... I sold the Skunk2 Civic RR... It was awesome i loved it, but i figured if i could sell ..i would...


Sooooooooooooooo now my DD Ep3 is sitting here with me, i drive her everyday. I love her. It all started with i needed a new stereo... so a few nights ago i got a pioneer 3400bh (double din dvd player) wired up a relay so i can bypass that pesky e-brake thing. Then it all clicked.... i brought the sub woofer out of hiding from the attic in the garage...dusted it off..threw my fast and furious lightening audio amp on it, and now i had the bump again...

i have a slight exhaust leak... Oh...ill just get a new exhaust...greddy has a decent system..so doesn't Apexi...something not too loud. well if i am going to do that i might as well get a new cat, i get the occasional "bad cat" code...so megan test pipe, and defoulers...

then i realized...i am spiraling out of control i am going to build this ep3 like i did my previous blue one from 2004...

I figured i would let everyone know i will be making a few more threads now, some how-to's with good detailed video like my Clutch master Cylinder one found here:


that one was just a quick simple one to answer someones question.

But i feel that i should let everyone know that i will be posting up more now.

Have u been in the tuning section? That guy that bought ur ep3 is having issues with it

yea I've been in the tuning section...I told him to make the thread so people can help him out.
He is having issues because he started to play around with k-pro and he's not fully experienced/its an older version of kpro.

anyway

I am going to tinker with my DD and make her my own like my old blue one

its crazy how we all come back around... lots of people try to fight the itch, i know ive tried. Even if im thinking of buying something else (like the TSX i saw last month lol) i start to put together a parts list and store a few pics of WHAT I WOULD DO TO IT TO MAKE IT MINE...
it really is a never ending cycle. reminds me of that article in honda tuning a month or two back.

well Jimmy I have a few parts I am just itching to put on next week. I keep stock piling
next week my ep will recieve

buddy club rsds
d3 double x brace bar
F/R camber kit
buddy club extended ball joints
and an alignment

Then she is getting new tires in a few weeks

I cant help but wanting more all the time.

I've tried to quit before but I keep lapsing

Very informative. I didnt know it was that simple. Would getting a new cmc stop the click and what bmc would be an upgrade as well? Not to jack your thread. I just watched the video and the question came to me since you can use an s2k bmc on an em1. Its funny how once you get the bug it just starts to snowball.

and for a bmc, doesnt affect the clutch at all, separate piece all together. In regards to them though i would have to research a little more i am not too familiar with any issues with ours.

On some ep. The clutch pedal click/creak.and i know someone that used an s2kcmc on his em1 as an upgrade. I was just wondering if you knew of any upgrades for the bmc or cmc from another honda.
