    Hfp rear lip plastic....care and protection

    Hey guys I just got my Hfp rear brand new in the mail. What should I do to prevent the black plastic part from fading and cracking? Wax? A friend suggested armor all? Any help is aporeciated

    No wax it will turn it white. Armorall will work i dont think it will last long ttho. Tireshine works for trim and lasts well. mothers or meguiers makes a really good trim protectant i love it. Forgot the name. Its not back to black though. Comes in a black spray bottle. I also heard sunscreen and peanut butter work really well to.

    Thanks ill go look for the meguiers stuff. Sunscreen sounds fun too. Just wanna make sure I can protect it with the cost of this lip

    No problem. The peanutbutter thing is on youtube. Seems to work well. I love the meguiers stuff though.

    I had the HFP Lip, and it stays in good condition, throw a good wax few times a year on it. Make sure it it tight up against the bumper allowing no water to creep in.
