    Help! Belt Noise

The cheapest parts to replace are the idler and tensioner pulley. I just replaced mine at 210k miles. If that doesn't fix it then check your water pump and AC.

Replace the tensioner and idler pulleys anyways. I recently ignored my new found noise only to have the idler pulley sieze on me on the highway. Popped the serpentine and literally welded aluminum dust and shavings onto the bearing race and shaft. Took a little dremmel work and a bit of tapping with a brass drift and hammer but I was able to get her fixed in the parking lot at work.
    Dont be me.
