I have a 02 ep3 turbocharged with a t3/t4 turbonetics turbo and ive heard a couple of other Honda's around recently that have a nice deep, and a little raspy sound a little like a Subaru. i would like to find out if anyone else got that sound and what set up they used? thanks
I thinks its all about how every diciphers the sound themselves.i dont have a turbo but im running catless with a race header and skunk2 exhaust. I love it. Really loud but deep.real racy sound. Has a nice burble when i slow down. Or downshift.buddy club,skunk2, apexi n1, hks hipower are some of your better choices for a loud deep race type of sound.
custom 2.5" piping with a vibrant resonator and muffler would sound mean
Buy that thermal exhaust in the sales threads on here. That's a badass exhaust that was built for turbo.
i have a costume 3" with a magen tip it sounds nice but i would really love that subaru sound! thanks for the input though guys!

its the long runners on the peakboost or full race manifold.. my sounded like a subi when i had that set up. full straight thru 3" with flow master muff...

what size is the down pipe on that set up you had? im from espanola not to many ep's here in new mexico huh
it was a 3" downpipe.
Not many ep3s at all, there were a half dozen turbo a3 running around but not anymore. Im like 1 of 2 ep3 in albuquerque.
